A private tour, organised by Cheetham And Crumpsall Heritage Society, (CCHS)

Led by popular Manchester Tour Guide, Sibby.

Sunday 24th March 4pm. Meet in front of the large wall map inside Victoria train station.

This tour is open to anyone, provided it is booked via CCHS, by emailing ccheritage23@gmail.com.

Price for non-members is £10 per head.

Join CCHS members for a fascinating insight into an area of Manchester often described as one of the worst slums in the entire country. Discover what Friedrich Engels wrote about the conditions here and how The Ragged Schools played their part in helping the inhabitants. Expect stories of mischief and murder, death and disease.
